Support operations in the Americas to develop a pro-active Business Continuity Management (BCM) program to ensure vital business functions can continue and provide for the safety of staff following an incident or business disruption.
Review and improve the Business Impact Analysis to maintain recovery requirements of a business disruption
Assist in the facilitation and development of recovery strategies for business and technology teams
Provide support in the event of a business disruption to manage the response coordination and communications
Maintain relationships with representatives of vital business functions to help coordinate an adequate response in a crisis or business disruption Training and Knowledge Management
Provide training and guidance to Business Continuity Coordinators so they can maintain Business Continuity Plans and manage response efforts during a crisis or business disruption
Provide expertise on BC and Emergency Response and provide support and training to key stakeholders.
Review and update Business Continuity policies and procedures as required
Track BCM program metrics to show the volume of activities and effectiveness Testing
Support BCM and DR exercises in the Americas
Microsoft Office – skilled user
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational skills
Understanding of the US regulatory landscape
Knowledge of the BCM lifecycle
